Anyone whose pet has gone missing knows the panic and fear of losing a pet and the worry about their wellbeing. mobiPET is the first amber alert system for pets, and the first system of it's kind for pets utilizing patented mobile image recognition technology.
The mobiPET system works by purchasing a mobiPET kit, which includes a metal tag engraved with a unique pet ID code and three key tags. After receiving your kit, you can register your pet via computer or your cell phone. mobiPET works on all mobile phone service carriers and all cell phones with cameras and texting capabilities. mobiPET doesn't require any downloads or apps.Once you've registered you can update your information any time, so if you move or travel your pet's information can be updated to it's current location.
Hopefully you won't ever have to use it, but if your pet is lost, you simply text the word LOST to mypets@agmt.tw. An alert with your pet's photo will be emailed to all animal shelters, boarding facilities and veterinarians within a 30 mile radius and a text will be sent to all registered cell phone users in a two mile radius of where your pet went missing.
I've registered Delia with mobiPET. Registration was easy with clear instructions included in the kit. While I don't want to use the mobiPET system, I do like knowing that the photo alert system is available if needed.
